What is COPE?

COPE helps young people develop the skills necessary to stop negative thoughts and start thinking and acting in more positive ways. Based on key components of cognitive-behavioral therapy, the COPE program leads participants through brief sessions that provide education and skills-building.

By turning negative thoughts into positive ones, children, teens, and young adults can feel better emotionally and behave in healthier ways.

COPE assists with reducing negative thoughts and emotions, building problem-solving skills, improved communication, enhanced self-esteem, and resilience, setting achievable goals, understanding and coping with stress, and feeling happier and healthier with increased positivity daily.

The COPE Program is only for established patients of Gainesville Pediatric Associates.
